Valentine Events – February 9 & 10
February is all about the heart. We have two very special events planned to remind us to be heart healthy (physically and spiritually) and to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
For our Tuesday evening group, we begin with an optional meal beginning at 5:30 p.m. on February 9th. We will have the Great Hall beautifully decorated for the event and the food will be heart healthy. You can sign up for the meal by sending an email to info@teresitascatering.com .
The main event will be in the church sanctuary at 6:30 p.m. JJ Worthen will be our musical guest. This Singer/Songwriter/Recording Artist performs in and writes for a wide gamut of musical venues. (See www.jjworthen.com .) He will not only lead us in praise & worship but will also do a mini concert of love songs. This will be very fun and special. I will follow with a special biblical lesson on love. Our evening will conclude with a short time of fellowship and desserts.
Wednesday, February 10th, we will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary with a time of praise and worship led by both JJ Worthen and Lisa Pierre. (Lisa is the worship leader for Beth Moore Bible studies. She has wowed us on numerous occasions. See www.lisapierre.com ) Lisa and JJ will do a mini-concert of love songs. This will be so much fun and very entertaining. I will follow with a special biblical lesson on love. Following the lesson, we will go to the Great Hall for a wonderful, heart-healthy meal.
